Most of our headwear is fitted and ready to go — pull it on and you are done. This page is for the pieces you can play with, and a few ideas for different looks.
Headband scarves
Place your hands on the lycra band and bring it over from the back of your head to the front.
- Lara style — use the scrunchie to hold the tail together. Vary where you hold it: to the side, with the excess material tucked in, gives a great look.
- Mia style — this has two layers, a longer one on top and a shorter one underneath. Use the shorter layer to tie a knot over the longer one.
Square bandanas
To get more out of a square bandana, fold it only one third of the way. Place the flat side over your forehead, then at the back tuck the middle point in between the right and left ones and tie a knot.
Adding a scarf to a hat
Why not add a scarf to your turban, 3 Seam Hat, Hat and Band or Jersey Head Cap? It adds instant colour and looks great. See our hat and wrap combinations for sets designed to go together.
Scarf hats with long ties
These are pre-fitted with an elastic trim at the back and very long ties. Place the scarf hat over your head, then have fun with the ties — bringing them around to the top front, crossing over and tying to the side or the back gives a great look.
