When will I receive my order?
We aim to dispatch within two working days, and we post two to three times a week by Royal Mail First Class. Typical UK delivery is one to three working days from dispatch. UK delivery is £2.90, and orders over £50 qualify for free Signed For first class delivery. If your order went by a trackable service we can email the tracking number on request — send your order reference to info@bohemiaheadwear.co.uk.
How much is delivery?
UK delivery is £2.90 by Royal Mail First Class. Orders over £50 qualify for free UK delivery, sent by Royal Mail First Class Recorded (Signed For) — UK postcodes only. International shipping is calculated at checkout.
Who delivers my order, and what if I'm out?
UK orders go by Royal Mail. Most items need a signature, so if you are out the driver will normally leave a card and you can arrange redelivery online or collect from your local Post Office. To avoid that, add a delivery note at checkout such as “please leave my parcel with a neighbour”.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, with the exception of the USA and Canada, which we cannot ship to because of our insurance policy. International orders go by Royal Mail Priority Airmail. Orders outside the UK may attract import duties or taxes on arrival, which are the customer's responsibility.
Can I visit your shop or collect my order?
We don't have a shop or a collection facility. There are full details and clear photographs of every product on the site, and any more information is a call or an email away. Guaranteed next-day and Saturday delivery are available at checkout for urgent orders.
How can I pay?
We accept most credit and debit cards, and PayPal. You can also telephone your order through on 01582 750083. Please don't send cash.
Can I change or add to an order I've placed?
If it hasn't been processed yet, we're happy to add items or change the delivery address or service. Please contact us as soon as you can on 01582 750083 or at info@bohemiaheadwear.co.uk.
Can I return something?
Yes. We accept returns up to 14 days after you receive your order, provided items are in the same condition as sold, with tags attached and in their original packaging. We recommend removing make-up before trying headwear on: items that are soiled, or contaminated with perfume, make-up or cigarette smoke, can't be accepted. Some sale and personal items are non-returnable and are marked NR* on the product page.
What size should I choose?
Most of our headwear is one size, fits most, listed as Medium. Several Bohemia-brand styles also come in Petite/Small and Large — the Cosy Hat, Cosy Hat and Band, Vicky Pleated Turban, 3 Seam Hat and Jersey Head Cap. Full measurements are on our size guide. If you need something outside those sizes, it's likely we can make it for you.
What fabrics do you use?
Most of our headwear is soft cotton jersey, chosen because it's light, breathable and gentle against a scalp made tender by treatment. We also use 100% cotton, bamboo, fleece and wool for winter, and chiffon, silk and velour for occasions.
Do you make headwear for children and for men?
Yes to both. Our petite range is cut for smaller heads, including children and teenagers, and we have a men's range of bandanas and caps in plainer cuts and understated prints.
Where is your headwear made?
Most of it is made here in the UK by our sister company, Idealyse Hats and Garments. Around 10% of our stock is imported. We check and pack every item ourselves.
Do you supply hospitals or wig suppliers?
Yes. We supply a number of NHS hospitals, hospices, cancer charities and wig suppliers, and we can provide printed leaflets and brochures for patients without internet access. See our health professionals page or call 01582 750083.
